Starting at the beginning of my passion for real estate, I acquired my real estate license in 1975. In 1985, I became a Licensed Auctioneer. I worked diligently at my career and reached the goal of opening Debbie Mathis Realty & Auction in December 1988.

I am a lifelong resident of Scottsboro/Jackson County! I am 1998 graduate of Scottsboro High School and a 2002 graduate of The University of South Alabama.  I graduated with a  B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in English.  In 2013, I chose the real estate profession as my career.  What a blessing it is to help people buy and sell in one of the most beautiful areas in North Alabama!  In addition to my career, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family!  I look forward to working with YOU!

I’ve lived in Jackson County my entire life. I am a 2000 graduate of Scottsboro High School. In 2004, I graduated from Troy State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. While attending Troy State, I ran cross- country and track! I’ve been a Licensed Realtor since 2010. My husband Chris and I reside in Henagar where we are raising our 3 sons Caden, Cohen & Charlie.
